Avast boot-time scan log file.
« on: May 08, 2011, 11:41:24 PM »
I need help with the Avast boot time scan log file. I am navigating to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report the locating aswBoot.txt. The log file does not show anything that was detected even though there were multitude of detections. What am I missing here? This is the log file.

No, this file is not from the Avast\report folder - it's from Avast\Log
(so, check the report folder)

I feel like a real idiot. Here I am recommending Avast for the last 3 years to everyone I come in contact with and I'm not even using it correctly. Thank you very much!! By the way, Avast is the best hands down. You guys are terrific and I truly appreciate the free version.

No problem... I suppose it's quite simple to confuse the report and log folders, the meaning is rather similar.
