My PC has been HiJack by the Newdotnet
« on: October 10, 2004, 07:48:50 AM »
G'day all,

I have been hit by a bad spyware call "newdotnet" my Avast 4 Home edition didn't pick the newdotnet as a virus or a trojans, my Ad-Aware SE Pro and Spybot v1.3 didn't pick anything up on the newdotnet.

But I found the information about on the newdotnet from the Google search website http://www.cexx.org/newnet.htm

I have remove the newdotnet from my HD and it was located in the C:\Program Files\NewDotNet

I have run a HiJackThis v1.97.7 and I am asking if someone can read the HiJackThis to make sure I am well clear and safe.

Thankyou.
