Noticed that after installing this version on Windows XP SP3 that windows media player is yet again back to that horrible red colour. Will have to look up which files need to be registered in windows registry again.

Did this and back to normal again---

Start, run, then paste in the following pressing OK after each line

regsvr32 jscript.dll   

regsvr32 vbscript.dll 

I never had such a problem with WMP. I'm using Windows XP SP3 too. You may using modified version of Windows may be.

before starting silly accusations, you should get your pre-information done right...

If you would have checked the domain name registration, you would have noticed that it belongs to a authorized GOLD reseller of avast! and that AVADAS is a legitimate German company, registered by the same reseller. The forum is a German community, which is being sponsored by the reseller. AFAIK the biggest community for avast! following after the original forum here. Check http://forum.avast.de. Next time do your research (if there have been a research at all) more properly.
