Hi,

Waste of time to answer to kiddies talk.  ;D

you are right ;)

Back on topic: Did someone else notice a significant improvement in the system startup time? My personal feeling is that the system starts more quickly and the network connections are available more faster.

I experienced something similar but was solved with the last virus definition update. Next day [today]

I didn't notice this. Same as before at my system (but this is ok  ;D).

Actually, my bootups seem to be taking longer than before and things , especially browsers, are a lot more sluggish at first. I did disable the indexing service though because I read that it would speed up XP. Maybe the opposite has occurred.

well my script shield (indicator of activity, statistics etc.) still dont work on W7sp1x64

any idea how fix it or what's wrong?

this problem persists now for like 4 version releases (yet it was working fine on early 6)
Have you tested it lately with Windows Media Player?

i dont use WMP, does the script shield works only with WMP ?

If you execute WMP, you should get a response from Script Shield to show it is actually functioning.  Then the question is for what other scripted applications and browsers under what conditions (OS etc) does it also function?-I use Opera and have never seen or heard of it working there.  Don't know anything definite about Chrome, FF, IE; haven't heard from other users (or Vlk) lately about how much has currently been implemented for Script Shield.  Certainly seems worthy of you starting a separate thread, though.  :)

Everything is working so well that I uninstalled Avast! Pro and OA and installed AIS on w7x64SP1 computer.  (I only have one AIS license, so Vista computer remains Free plus OA++).  Will tune the firewall for a bit, but everything working fine so far.  :)

Looks like a server down.  Go to main settings page, and under "basic" uncheck "show remote content".  Under "Community" uncheck the two community boxes at the bottom.

it worked dude! kudos!

but my only concern is that, will it be fixed any time soon if i'll "check" back again the two unchecked items?
