proxy server

Did you configure avast! to use the proxy server (Connections (Basic) > Details > Proxy)?

no other security

Not even a firewall?

Hi,
1) I did check the proxy connection:
autodetect (use internet explorer settings).
proxy server test: correct

2) Yes, I found that I have a firewall:
windows firewall

So, what next?
Thank you, Elazar

Allow Avast! access. Check you settings in  the firewall. You've probalbly blocked avast! and therefore the updates aren't working.

Can you check if your update period expired? See About dialog for details.
Is you system (date) correct?

Can you manual update avast? Click on the 'Ray' button in the skin.

Bob, I don't think Windows Firewall would block the outbound avast search for a website to update. Anyway, it's good to check if there is anything strange there  ;)

Are the errors related just to automatic updates or not, you're receiving them even in manual updating...  ::)

The Log Viewer shows anything regard to this?
