It's nice to see the club is still very active and meeting regularly via ZOOM
The presentation was well-received. There was a Q&A session prior to my presentation
and a separate Q&A following the presentation.
Some of the questions addressed pertained to the following, Router, and Computer
shut-down; how when, and why. Changing from one AV to Avast.

This morning was my first time visiting with the folks at Fountain of the Sun.

The members of this club all reside in an Independent Senior Living Facility.
The biggest interest after the presentation was in Avast Omni.
Hopefully, Avast can maintain the current bargain price for some time into the future.

2-4-2021 Computer Club of Oklahoma City, OK - Remote

I almost skipped this entry which would not have been fair.
This presentation was a last-minute request and the topic was to be a "General Q&A session".
We covered a broad scope of questions here are just some of those questions.
Static picture in ZOOM when turning off the video. Displaying all items in the system tray.
Wiping a hard drive using Ccleaner. Accessing the computer's system tray during a Zoom meeting.
Removing a Hard drive from a laptop. Selectively bypassing an update offered by Microsoft on Win. 10.
I also answered quite a few Anast specific questions.  There were also many questions during the two
hour session.

2-8-2021 Tech for Seniors - Episode 46

The show again reached its 100 participants capacity before we also started the show on YouTube live.
We made it to 31 minutes into the show when there was an apparent ZOOM outage or something else and everyone
was knocked off. It also ended the YouTube portion abruptly.
Once we figured out what had happened, the show was restarted, and gradually most of the participants
rejoined the show. This was the first time something like this had ever happened.
I personally hope it never happens again. The good thing is that you learn from glitches and become more prepared
for future ones if or when they happen.

The attendance for this club has certainly diminished due to Covid.
They are hoping to soon again be able to meet in person.
The questions asked pertained to iOS security and two-factor authentication and
a question regarding turning off or removing Defender before installing Avast.

This club met both virtually and some members attended the presentation in their meeting hall.
The presentation was followed by a Q&A session where we talked, among
other things, about VPN's, and cell phone security.

I spent the evening in Canada in beautiful British Columbia (remotely)
The pictures are beautiful.


We had a very enjoyable Q&A session after the presentation and covered Back-ups,
cloud storage, VPN's, phone updates, Password Managers, and file recovery.

Excellent APCUG member attendance (227) for a presentation that pointed out all the
tools that are part of Ccleaner
I also spent at least 20- minutes answering many questions about the various things
that Cleaner does.
We also spent time showing the various settings changes available in Ccleaner.

There was quite a bit of security-related information that was covered.
We also covered cellphone connectivity, the Wyze Robot Vacuum (I love mine.), and creating
an emergency recovery USB drive. There was also a longer than usual Q&A session.
