for the members of CFCS. The presentation was well attended and well received.
There were questions asked during and after the presentation on the following
topics: Email scams, VPN's Password Managers, and many other topics.

2-13-2023 Tech for Seniors - Episode 150

Today most of our efforts were concentrated on Password Managers.
We covered the weeks Cyber Security News and then dove into
Password Mangers. Should you uses them? Which one is a good choice.
How to remove LastPass and install a substitute like Bitworden, Dashlane,
RoboForm, or another product. Steps taken to changing from one to another, etc.
The final segment of the show was a tribute to Jeff Beck.
A 20 minute Q&A session mainly on the Password topic ended the show.

2-15-2023 Computer Club at Golden Vista Resort, AZ

This morning I had the pleasure to ZOOM in to the club to do my presentation.
I was on ZOOM, they were all there in person. The presentation went off without
a hitch which wasn't the case in 2021 when the club had severe internet limitations.
A hotspot did the trick today and we were all able to enjoy our get-together.
Following the presentation we had a question about some of the programs discussed
during the presentation and, a discussion and clarification about 2FA

2-20-2023 Tech for Seniors - Episode 151

On this President's Day we had another interesting and feature packed show.
We started this morning answering a viewers mail-in question about missing icons.
I demomstrated many of the ways to hide and showe icons on the desktop and taskbar.
We covered the following topics, Cybersecurity News Update, Your desktop - your way,
Electric Vehicles - Batteries - The road ahead, a tutorial on using ChatGPT, the new
Bing with ChatGPT and how to add it to Chromium based browsers, an update on the
availability of Marine Starlink, the music tribute today featured Bert Bacharach and
Dionne Warwick. A Q&A session followed to end the show.

Another well attended show and we covered a wide array of topics today.
Weekly Security News Roundup, Hiding the Taskbar ,What is a Raspberry Pi,
All about UPS - Uninterruptable Power Supplies, What is Phishing
and how to protect against it? The music segment featured Morgan Wallen.
We ended the show with a Q&A show with many questions and answers about UPS's.

I spent last night with the members and guests of the Payson Computer Meet-up Club.
The presentation was well received and there were quite a few questions
during the Q@A session that followed the presentation.
The questions asked were about Avast One Essential, Avast SecureLine VPN, Phishing
via email, and Ransomware.

2-28-2023 Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc., OH

Last night's presentation for the member of DMA was the maiden voyage
of a new presentation "AI - A Closer Look" which explores the many uses 
of Artificial Intelligence in various industries including the Cybersecurity
Industry outlining how Avast uses AI and how both Avast and their customers 
benefit from the use of AI.
The presentation is divided into two parts. Par one is a PowerPoint presentation.
Part two is a hands on demo of ChatGPT and DALL-E 2. For this portion, the club
requesting the presentation is asked to supply input they would like both
AI platforms to address. We had some interesting replies from both ChatGPT and
DALL-E 2 from the queries submitted. the following image is from DALL-E 2 in response
to the following question:
“An illustration about the frustrations a user often has with a personal computer, mobile phone, and/or tablet--in the style of the artist, illustrator, cartoonist, and author, Gahan Wilson (February 18, 1930 – November 21, 2019)” Here is the response shared:

It was truly an enjoyable evening with lot's of question about AI from those attending.

There was a lot of information shared during this mornings well attended show.
We covered the Cybersecurity news that occurred during the past week, All you
need to know about SSD cards, The Website aof the Week covered a Photo Manipulation
Website, All about Notepad getting Tabs and more, Pinning ChatGPT to your Taskbar
as a webapp, The Music Outoro was a tribute to Elton John's final world tour.
The show ended with a 20 minute Q@A session that covered a variety of questions about
all the topics covered in today's show.

3-8-2023 Chesapeake Area Tech Society, MD - Remote
"Using Ccleaner for more than cleaning up crap". was last nights topic.

This Chesapeake Area Tech Society, MD as many others, is dwindling in size but those that
attended asked lots of questions before, during and after the presentation.
We also covered the various settings available in Ccleaner.   
All those in attendance except for me, used the Paid version of Ccleaner.

3/12/2023 Central Florida Computer Society, FL

Today's presentation on AI - A closer Look for CFCS was well received and attended.
The Q&A session probably took as long as the presentation.
We posed two questions to ChatGPT: 1. "Why are there so many production companies showing their logos at the beginning of a movie?"
2.  "What supplements interact negatively with Metformin?" I then asked for sources
to back up the replies received. The audience was amazed at the speed and accuracy of the information.
We also posed two inputs for picture requests from DALL-E 2 which again amazed some of those attending
how quickly the pictures were rendered.

Today we covered quite a few topic for the many that attended the show.
Topics for today: Avast Security News Roundup, Scammers are using AI voices to steal,
EV Batteries with a concentration on the different charging methods, Windows 10/11 Tips,
10 Who-Knew Uses for Aluminum Foil. The musical tribute honored Fred Astaire.
We ended with a 20 min. Q@A session.

3/16/2023 Computer Users of Erie, PA

Last night it was my pleasure to present "Cybersecurity A to Z"
to the members of CUE. This was a zoom meeting well received and
followed by lots of questions.
During the Q@A session that follwed the meeting I answered question on
e-mail security, phishing attacks, breaches, Two factor authentification,
cookies - what to keep what to delete, The importance of VPN's,
Why use Avast when Windows already has protection, network segregation,
privacy focused browsers and probably a lot more that I didn't write down.
It was a very enjoyable evening.

The show ended with a 20 min Q&A session on the topics covered although most
questions pertained to AI and ChatGPT.

Today's episode concludes three years of doing this show.
We covered the following topics during today's show,

the show for the past 3 years, Mac Tips for Newbees to a Mac,
Part One of my trip to an Amazon Fulfillnent Center, The music tribute
was for Iranian/Canadian singer Ramin Karimloo.
The show ended with a Q&A session. Next week starts year #4.
For something that was only planned to last a few month till the pandemic ended,
it's turned into a series enjoyed by many all over the world.
New attendees are always welcome.
