Hey Pro Users..........

Pro users, do you still have the upgrade (some call nag) graphic on your Pro Antivirus to upgrade to AIS? I'm really thinking about buying the Pro version, but I don't want to be bothered about buying the AIS version, cause I don't want or need the firewall.

Disregard my post above. I installed and purchased a 2yr license for AIS. As much as I love avast! Free, it can't compare to AIS, with the manual sandbox, safezone and oh yea, the firewall..............If you have only tried the free version, do yourself a favor and try AIS.

I have been browsing the web with my google chrome in the manual sandbox for over 2hrs and the avast! firewall is using 1,200k of RAM and the other two processes are using 3,100k and 2,800k. I thought the free version was light on resources, but damn, AIS is even lighter. I also really like having my browser sandboxed, as it makes me feel invincible! lol

I don't mind supporting avast! when they make software like this.

I have never purchased the paid version from a company that offers a free version, until I tried Winpatrol and AIS. Winpatrol Plus was an easier choice for me because of the one time only payment, while AIS was a tougher sell. That is until I actually tried AIS! ;D  Heck, it's only $.50 a week for 2yrs of worry free web surfing.............Worth it!
