Free Offline-Registration not possible - no email received ...

Hi Folks, I wanted to register offline (by eMail), but within 3 days, I did not get an eMail with the code. I then tried a second time after about 48h, but also second time no email-answer. A check about "forgotten password" tells me that the email-address is not known - so registration did not happen ... It is a gMail-Account - are gMail-Account (google-mail) not supported? thanks for help, how to offline-register (btw: I need offline-register as it is test-system that will be reformatted and new installed about once every one to two months).

Yes, fill in your data, get the answer: registration successful, you have to check your email for confirmation ... and I don't get any email-answer with the code ... neither in "normal mail" nor in SPAM-folder ...

if I ask for resending the code, I am told that the email-address is not registered and not known ...

you go in avast! in the managment, recording them online.
Yuo need only name and e-mail.

Other question: friend of me who has pc and notebook with separate email-addresses was registering avast-free online, how can he find out which email address is used on which pc?

There are no keys or email for the newer avast free version's, you go to maintenance/registation click on register free version and when you get the popup screen fill in the details and click ok and its done, no key or email needed.

The email address you used is just for registration so that avast can get an understanding of the amount of people using avast, nothing is sent to you by email.
