I´m on a Win2K SP5 system, using Avast! 4.0.235 Home Edition.
Since I´ve downloaded Outlook Express 6, I configured it to use with my Hotmail account only.
Well, I´ve entered in your forums and FAQs and read about configuring OE by Mail Wizard, but I can´t find the way to work with Avast.
 
I think it might be because it´s on hotmail (http server), but I really don´t know, so here I wait for your answers.

Avast doesn't support scanning mail from http servers, see also http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=186;start=0.

Although, the webmails will be protected by Internet resident, I suppose... And for attachments, the user can configure the type of files to scan at residents menu  :).
