I want to know if there are alternates to adobe flash player? Its good to know if there is or not.

Adobe are the only ones who do flash unfortunately.

I was going to try a new flash player to see if a game i play does to a big black box like it is doing with me..

Not true. But as Flash is not an open standard, they are the only ones who do Flash.
