Windows XP SP3 fresh install and security updates all up-to-date with nothing else loaded. Install latest Avast 6.0.1125 first before anything else. Upon reboot of Windows XP and during login, the system crashes to the blue screen of death. It cites aswSnx.SYS and aswSP.SYS as the culprits. Please see the attached screen capture (sorry for the poor quality). Safe boot uninstall of Avast resolves the issue, and the system will boot up again.

Please, go to folder \windows\minidump and send the newest (recent) .mdmp files for analysis.
There is also C:\Windows\Memory.dmp file.
Better if you can compress (zip), rename it with an unique name, them and add some information about the BSOD and the link for this thread.  ;)
Upload it to this anonymous ftp server: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/

There was no C:\Windows\Memory.dmp file on my machine.

I uploaded a file called SilvrDrgn_Mini052811-01.zip to your FTP site.
It contains the mini-dump file and a text file with a little more info.

It must be hidden. In the screenshot is said "Physical memory dump complete"...

I thought the physical memory dump was the minidump file.  I searched the whole hard drive, even hidden files, for *.dmp pattern.  The only one that showed up was the minidump file that I uploaded to the FTP site.

Correction from before regarding automatic login: That happens via TweakUI software from Microsoft that is installed.

I found the issue with the missing Memory.dmp files.  System was not configured to create them.  So, I have repeated the BSOD crash issue three more times:
1) MiniDump only
2) Kernel memory dump and minidump
3) Complete memory dump and minidump

The following files have been uploaded to your FTP site corresponding to the numbers above:
1) SilvrDrgn_Mini052911-01.zip
2) SilvrDrgn_Kernel_MEMORY052911-02.zip
3) SilvrDrgn_Complete_MEMORY052911-03.zip

All three ZIP files contain the same .txt file with additional information.

Please advise.  Thank you.

I have the same issue with aswsnx.sys running on XP Pro.  Took to liberty of uploading to your ftp location hope that's ok.

Filenames prefixed with SKS_

Thanks
