win32 trojan

vast currently finds  a virus "Win32:Trojan-378[Tri]  but I am unable to eliminate it .........any advice please

What version of Avast! are you using
What vps version?
What OS?
What exactly is the error message? (If you are getting one.)
What exactly is the path and name of the file you can't remove?

Run a boottime scan.

- Disable system restore
 -start Avast > Menu > plan boot scan

Let us know if that solved it.
