What are HIPS and what do they do?

Having HIPS is a good thing.

Sometime HIPS is annoying.Look at Comodo Firewall,it is really overprotective to their users and it has annoying pop up.

Not true..........that because you haven't got used to the software and how to understand how it works, it like you're driving you're very first car when you're a teenager going out on a blind date ;)

HIPS is really a good thing.... But it not recommended for novice users....

I heard many people saying that it is the future of protection against zero day threats.....
