« on: June 06, 2011, 10:21:29 PM »
I have an app that avast ais 6.125 kept prompting me to sandbox and finally got a prompt to add to trusted so I did. but no where in the menu or settings do I see a place where I can revoke it or set it back to untrusted.

Don't know who closely you looked, avastUI, Additional Protection, AutoSandbox, Settings. This will open another window, here you will see programs which you have added to the trusted programs (excluded), you can delete it there.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

apparently not to close as looked there but did not think autosandbox applied. since it was to add to trusted programs.
oh well thanks for the info.

You're welcome.

Yes, the AutoSandbox doesn't have its own interface as essentially it comes under the control of the File System Shield as that first scans the file, then hands it off to the AutoSandbox if it is in any way suspicious.

Unfortunately the terminology doesn't spread across the two different areas AutoSandbox, image1 and Behavior Shield, image2.

The trusted processes/programs terminology is in the Behavior Shield. The main thing is that you have it sorted now though.
