Well, the main benefit of ClearCloud is bad webpages blocking where OpenDNS only blocks phishing sites.

But seems OpenDNS allows configuration (and also parental control) and ClearCloud is *only* DNS protection (not configurable). Am I wrong?

ClearCloud DNS & Norton DNS both blocked gmail phone service.

No problems for me with OpenDNS. :)

OpenDNS's Family Shield has been doing a good job protecting my sister's children from porn & other bad sites.

Well, ClearCloud has 3 centers in Europe. London, Frankfurt and Vienna. OpenDNS only has it in London.
So if you're from central Europe or Balkan, ClearCloud is suppose to be a better option.

Any idea of Norton DNS, Google DNS and Comodo DNS. Are they customizable/configurable unlike clearcloudDNS? It is sad opendns doesn't offer malware protection to free users.

Any idea about Internet Guide service from DynDNS. It offers options to whitelist and blacklist but not sure if they have a server in Europe.

Re: ClearCloud DNS
Effective September 1, 2011, GFI's ClearCloud DNS service will be discontinued and no longer available for consumer use...
you will need to reconfigure your network connection [removing ClearCloud].  If this is not done prior to September 1, 2011, your Internet connectivity will be interrupted.

Why don't you download a copy of DNS Bench http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm and find out for yourself for your area.
