I recently got Avast (free edition), and today my iGoogle home page was blank.  The culprit was Avast "WebRep" which I had to disable to see my Google home page.  Avast should make this compatible, as I read forum notes that this problem goes way back months ago.  Thanks.

It was resolved once before, so something must have changed, what that might be I don't know. See, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=78778.0 and http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=75667.0

I am having the same problem. I am using Windows XP and Firefox 4. The strange thing is, I had the WebRep extension on for a month, and iGoogle worked fine all that time. Today it broke. Nothing has changed in my system, that I know of. I found the info about WebRep, and disabling it definitely solves the problem. I like the WebRep extension, and I would like to be able to use it. Any new info on this?
Thanks

Same experience.  Windows 7-64bit, Firefox 4.01.  Lost iGoogle, my homepage, a couple of days ago.  Works in Chrome and Opera.

Exact same. Webrep stops Igoogle gadgets. But BT Yahoo home page (very similar with similar gadgets) works fine.
