Problems with Scan + Report
« on: June 22, 2011, 03:31:19 AM »
Hello everybody. I left a message in Spanish forum but they send me to this forum.

I had 1 week with this problem. I installed Avast in Fedora 15 and the installation
and uptade are ok. My problem is when I scan the directory /

I used this command line when I loggin like super user:
avast –a -–report=
  • report.txt

Start to scan but suddenly the system crash in the line :
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/config [Scan error: Invalid Argument]

After that i need to restart the computer.

If there any way I can scan my system and generate a report of it, I will
appreciate some help.

By the way, I try to scan using the graphic window of Avast, but most of the time
it send many lines like this:

File was not tested due to configuration details

…And send me a numbers of infected files.

I think that line means that user has not enough system permition.

I appreciate some help about this problem.

Regards,
Miki
