Lee, I wish I could give you a XP installation  :-\
If I were you, I'll wait until the final release. The Beta won't help you that much.

So basicly its pritty much pointless having the update anless you have Windows NT, 2000, XP, and 2003.  :'(

I certainly wouldn't say that.
There were many bugfixes there, new archives are supported... the archive support is even otherwise updated...

Which new archives are supported?

7ZIP, CHM, ISO, TNEF, CPIO, RPM... I hope I didn't forget anything. Oh, and the AsPack support is significantly improved.

But as I said - there were lots of fixes that are not mentioned in the "new features" list.

Well, quite a few of them - the list that Technical posted certainly isn't the complete history log. I can't say all the changes from heart... but e.g. the actions on infected files have been improved (in previous versions, the error "Cannot process the file because it's currently in use" wasn't always right).

BTW, is 4.5 BETA removing registery keys aswell as the infected files?

Yes, it should.

Working late tonight  8) How does the recommendation system works? Depending on file location/extension or some other thing?

When certain file is detected you get that popup warning right? And now its recommendation under the buttons (like Recommended action: Move to Chest or Delete). Try with EICAR and you'll see what i mean.

Oh and is Azureus (Java BitTorrent client) also covered by P2P Shield?
Some my friend was asking and i'm not sure if Standard BitTorent covers it in P2P Shield.

Windows 9x is outdated anyway. Windows 98 is nearly 7 years old OS.

Yes, I agree. 98 will never survive in today's environment.

I installed Avast... but since there is no SSL/TLS support I'll have to use an other companies product. Does anyone know a solution?
