Workstation Symbols in ADNM
« on: June 20, 2011, 02:43:42 PM »
Hi,

What is the meaning of the different workstation symbols in the Computer Catalog in the ADNM? I have assumed the following, but clarification would be good  8)

Black Screen - Needs Updating
Red Screen - Virus found in last 24 hours
Green Screen - Up to date and Okay
Key over Screen - No Idea

Thanks, Mark

Thanks for the manual - I made the mistake of trying to use the inbuilt help :)

I see that Avast randomly decides which machines in the catalog to give the license too.

It has 'randomly' given licenses to machines (and NAS drives) that I dont want to lose my licenses too. How can I move the license to other machines? Is it simply a case of deleting a computer/nas from the catalog that has a license, and it will automatically reallocate it to another machine?

Are 'unlicensed' machines still protected?

Thanks, Mark

basicly in the current ADNM any detected machine gets (randomly) a license.

you can delete the object in ADNM but with the first next automatic discovery task it will get added again.
To prevent this you can turn of the discovery task and you will be in control of which objects get licenses....
