Banbra-K?
« on: October 23, 2004, 08:25:11 PM »
Hello,

I recently ran Home Edition 4.1 and did a thorough scan of my hard drive.  I have Windows XP.

It found four occurrences of Win32:Banbra-k [Trj].   However it was not able to move, remove, delete, nor quarantine the virus.     Is there a way I can get rid of it?
 ???

Two are in the system restore files.   One is in the recycler, and one is a in a simple config file for a graphics program.

Many thanks for any help!  :)

...John

Well you can clean them by turning of System Restore (search the forums on how to do this) and by using Boot-Time scan. Also empty Recycle Bin to erase the one in RECYCLER folder.

For the last thing you should check if its not a false positive (that graphic program).
