Should avast services interact with desktop?
« on: October 25, 2004, 02:44:48 AM »
I'm receiving an error message from ashUpdSv.exe when I shutdonw.
I take a look into the properties (logon tab) of this service and I'm not sure it must be allowed that it 'interacts with desktop' (I'm translating the option text).

Can anybody say how it must be configurated?
I know it must logon as a local service...

Thanks for help.  ;)

By default it is set to interact with desktop.
