Microsoft Outlook problem
« on: October 24, 2004, 02:36:54 AM »
??? I'm sure this has been hit millions of times, but when I did a search for it I came up with nothing. I am new here so please forgive me. My Avast Home edition is running on almost everything except Microsoft Outlook. I get the message "The provider is waiting on the subsystem to start." What do I need to do?

Thanks in advance!

You are right. This has been told in several threads already.

Open the About box in Outlook, and click Disabled Items. Make sure the avast plugin is not on the list...

After you did what Eddy said, remember, the message "The provider is waiting on the subsystem to start" will be shown there until you open MS Outlook  ;) The plugin will be enable automatically.

Thanks! That helped! It was in the disabled items, actually it was the only disabled item. ;D
