Deletion isn't really a good first option (you have none left), 'first do no harm' don't delete, send virus to the chest (a protected area) and investigate.

There is no rush to delete anything from the chest, a protected area where it can do no harm. Anything that you send to the chest you should leave there for a few weeks. If after that time you have suffered no adverse effects from moving these to the chest, scan them again (inside the chest) and if they are still detected as viruses, delete them.

I believe it's a WGA issue.

I just came out of a Boot scan and got this Windows Not Genuine error. It provided an option to "Get Genuine" and I did, I think, at least it seemed happy and the machine has booted enough to get me here to the forum.

Actually the problem that got me here in the first place was the OXC 0000017 Not Enough Quota error that caused me to abort the scan, then I ran across this thread and had to post here.

I'm running Win 7 Professional which came pre-installed on an Acer.

I've had the same problem! That's a pity!!!
Recently Avast HE is causing to me lots of problems (take a look HERE). I'm so sorry about this, because I use this antivirus since times ago.
My (pure and original) O.S.: Windows XP Professional (updated).
I upgraded Avast! Free Antivirus to version 6.0.1203. Since that I need to re-activate my O.S..
Something more.
If I re-activate the O.S., leave "opened" my internet connection (I don't disable the LAN connection) and shut down the pc (sorry for my english!!!), at the restart, I have no problems.
Otherwise, if I close my connection, then shut down the pc, restarting it (or shutting down then starting again), I receive a message to active (in 3 days) my O.S..
So ... I uninstalled Avast! ...
Spyware Terminator comes to function regularly (because it can load the upper frame on the right ... as I supposed), but I still have the activation problem.
Now I'm restoring an old image (made with Acronis) of my pc ... I'll tell you.
I'm so sad about this ...
