script shield not doing much?
« on: July 05, 2011, 06:55:55 PM »
Hi, I just updated (via program) to version 601203. I have been using windows media player, it used to show 100's of entries in the script shield log. it now shows0/0 I use ie9 and ff5 so I dont thin they effect it.
Is it working ok? everything else seems fine.
thanks

The Script Shield in v1203 is not monitoring Windows Media Player anymore. Otherwise, there should be no change.

We will be replacing the existing Script Shield with a completely new module relatively soon (probably even before the v7 launch, at least unofficially).

Thanks

And until there, why didn't you keep the old one? ???
