Weird - could you continue to determine if you can recover the partition

Aye as the partition programme will read data from the hard drive and not the PE drive

Still running pe builder to create iso file it's been running for nearly an hour and is two thirds finished but says there have been 52 errors copying files so far? And do you want make and model of my laptop which has the problems? If so it's a Packard bell easynote model number TK37-AV-010UK

Wierd that - OK I do have access to a pre-compiled PE system.  I am awaiting a reply from sUBs on this problem

When you get to the reatogo desktop then run the easus programme from a flash drive

Please print these instruction out so that you know what you are doing

Latest version: v3.1.46.0

OTLPENet.exe
MD5=79209302A1AFB2490808DB890A815CED
Size: 127,222,215b / 121.3MB

  • Download OTLPENet.exe to your desktop
  • Ensure that you have a blank CD in the drive
  • Double click OTLPENet.exe and this will then open imgburn  to burn the file to CD

  • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here
  • As the CD needs to detect your hardware and load the operating system, I would recommend a nice cup of tea whilst it loads  :)
  • Your system should now display a Reatogo desktop.
Note : as you are running from CD it is not exactly speedy
  • You can backup any files that you wish from this OS

when you say run the easus programme from a flash drive, do you mean put the programme onto a usb stick and run it from there?

And where you say "reboot your system using using the cd you just created2 do you mean the pc with the problems? or the pc i am using now?

ok, got realto dsktop up and running then tried to install easus from usb stick but get error message
x:\i86\system32prwntdrv.sys
An error occured while trying to create the destination file or directory
Access is denied

I then intalled the programme files onto the usb stick and tried to run it from there but i dont get a short cut to open it so i navigate to Main.exe and click that and it opens the first page of EASUS but when i click next it goes off
