I am wondering whether it was in your temp files as the clearance seems to have stopped the issue for the moment, FF seemed OK with no known malware present

Could you confirm that the alerts have ceased

Newest alert in Firefox on Google home page:

Object = google.com/.../challenge?k=6LcRuL0SAAAAAEnvZvPe...etc
Process = C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastSvc.exe
