Secure Websites Not Avail?
« on: October 28, 2004, 09:03:42 AM »
Howdy... trying to diagnose problem accessing secure websites like us.mcafee.com. Have tried numerous security changes to Internet Explorer, turned off all the pop blockers I could find. Are there any settings in Avast that I would need to change to allow access to secure websites? Quite frustrated... any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

us.mcafee.com is not a secure website. I would say start checking for malware. Click on the link in my signature and follow the steps on that page.

avast! doesn't block or control HTTP/HTTPS connections.
Script Blocking does, but i doubt it would block all HTTPS webpages.
