I'm Stumped

I've built a new PC only to find that online games crash. Windows says files   C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS\~1\Temp\WER7d04.dir00\Mini102804-03.dmp  and C:\DOCUME~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER7d04.dir00.sysdata.xml   wre involved. I know these are temporary files but cannot find them. Is this a symptom of a virus? I'm a bit of a newbie to all of this. Please help i spent my bonus building this!!! >:( ??? :-[

The two files would appear to be associated with the error report/warning that you received. It is possible that they were deleted by windows after the warning.

I don't believe it has anything to do with a virus, which, hopefully avast would have caught.

By 'you were unable to find them' do you mean that the files were not there or the folders didn't match the path?

DOCUME~1 = Documents and Settings LOCALS~1 = Local Settings
