It is great to hear the different experiences of users.
The difference is obviously in the experience of the users.... ;D ;D ;D

Harsh! I would actually consider myself very experienced. ToDo just did not work for me. Maybe it was problem with that particular version i don't know.

Agreed. However, Bob provides useful contributions to this forum.

Oh i know he does. He has helped me many a time :)

That's what I love about this forum: a variety of users and opinions, but everyone lives peacefully together  :)

ToDo backup is a piece of garbage! On the surface it looks good until you actually have to restore the 'back-up' it has made. Then you will see what i mean as it will not restore sh*t!! Do yourself a favour, delete it and look for a reputable back-up program.
What happened when you have to use the restore?

When i tried to restore i was faced with an error message. I cannot remember the exact message as this was some time ago but to put it simply ToDo would not restore my system to its previous state. I used to perform backup, including system image and yes i verified the image after but it just did not work for me. In the end i had to re-install Windows.

Well... I believe in your report and personal experience, but I can't judge the software due to the lack of information.

That's just the thing, we would need more information, could have been lot's of different things that prevented the restore from completing. Bad recovery image, hardware fault, scratched cd/dvd etc. etc. As i said, i have successfully completed a backup and restore both on my desktop system and my netbook. So for me the software works as advertised and i have made it my main backup program. :)

i prefer todo backup, compared with Paragon which is too complicated for common users.
