If you use ADNM, do NOT upgrade to avast! 5.1 on your workstations. 5.1 is a non-managed consumer version. The next version of the business protection is due out soon, including a new management console.

When will the new version be out?   All I keep hearing is 'soon'.     Is there a release date yet?

I hope it's sooner than later.  Avast just released 6.0 today for consumers.  Now the business suite is two versions behind!

Experts,

We have around 150 internation users that use avast 4.8 as it is rolled out using Group Policy.

Recently we have wanted to upgrade everybodies Avast to V5... or whatever is the current version for a client.

We do use ADNM but don't have the greatest knowledge to operate it. I presume we would have to unistall V4.8 0n every machine first and then roll out the new version?

Please advise. I really do apprecite the help !

Kind regards,

Jon
