Must I see an ad for mac protection with every def update on my PC?

alright, this is starting to become annoying, for the last 2 weeks every one of the overly frequent def updates comes with an ad for avast mac protection, hello... I'm on a PC for god's sake, why is this happening?

Not ever update notification had an ad for the Mac version, I have two systems and can say I haven't seen it on every update notification on either.

There is nothing to stop you reducing the duration the update popup notification is displayed or removing it completely.
