man this stupid swearing piece of s**t is giving me many troubles
i just reinstalled it after it was giving me the same problem like how you guys had but nothing, i also have WINDOWS 2000 SP 4 on my system too

Well I am having the same issue here too, butalso I fear it has something to do with the TSDD rootkit that might be causing this, some how linked with volsnap.sys supposely according to ComboFix, and this log may determind the issue, could be wrong of course,
