How do you delete a thread?

i'm kinda tired of making double posts by accident, so how do you delete them?

Only admins could do that. Should I delete the whole thread?

You can only modify as you have done.

If it isn't relevant or a duplicate, just clear the text out of the post and enter, "duplicate post - deleted."

If one of the moderators happens to see it they may remove the duplicate, etc.
