Mail options

I am having troubles with the antivirus check possibility in the avast program.

I have now recovered my old settings, (without the email scan), but when i have used the mail protection wizzard. I am not able any more to check my email.

The email scan has previously worked. I  dont understand what the problem is.

I don't understand your problem either!
Can you run a manual scan using Avast?
What troubles are you having exactly!....Please explain with some more detail.
What settings did you "recover"?

Recheck your email server addresses in the Wizard to be sure they are correct.

We can't take this further until I have more detailed information.

Please, be more specific. What kind of email client and server are you using (POP/SMTP/IMAP... Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora...). Come back and we can help you...
