Avast Sandbox

I opened a downloaded .exe file in the sandbox mode and it messed up my msn messenger, my skype and internet explorer, how can I restore the original data again?

Re download the exe file and run but tell Avast to let it run normally, if you are sure the file is safe

The file was a sort of virus, so it's really not safe. Now my question is how do I restore the damage this file made to my computer.
