Facebook Security Apps

I have come across genuine Facebook security apps. I wonder what are your opinions.

I know of two of them. Do you know anymore?

First one : BitDefender SafeGo

https://apps.facebook.com/bd-safego

Second one : Norton Safe Web

They are a little different. They scan the Newsfeeds and links on your wall and check it they are trusted or not even before i click on it.

I think Avast doesn't unless i click on it.

Isn't it?

Recently, one of my friend posted a status

"WOAH! my profile was viewed 70 times JUST TODAY, and I can see that I have quite a few stalkers LOL! Find out yours here xxx.tiny.cc/DrTruth"

But it was a spam and BitDefender SafeGo detected it but not Norton

It is not a desktop replacement or anything. It is said to be cloud based as well. I dunno what they mean by it. Just only for Facebook and inside Facebook.

Absolutely a scam and something that I wouldn't even look at
since that's not what Facebook was designed for.
