Licence email not being received

Hi all;

I've been trying to request a free licence but I'm not receiving any email with the licence and when I'm trying to resend the code I receive an email telling me that no record of my email has been found on the database.

Is that normal? Is the service experiencing any kind of technical dificulties?

Thank you, but isn't that for the windows version? I'm having problems in the Linux version (after all this forum is for the unix/linux versions)

Oops, I am sorry. I stand corrected. The link which I gave you is for windows. For linux is to register in this link: http://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php

Wait for a day or two and check in the spam folder too.

A few people have posted on avast facebook page that they are not able to register from the link above. Might be a technical hitch. You may have to wait.

Has there been any resolution to this?  I am having the same problem.  It's been 3 days since I requested a license and still haven't received it.  I have received an e-mail from the resend license request link, but it just contains a link to the resend license page.

On another note, when is avast 5 due out for Linux? Has it been shelved?

Never mind.  I finally received ti e-mail 30 Min ago.
