You can use
avast! 4 Uninstall
to clean any Registry file or file into avast4 folder left behind after the uninstallation.
But, like Igor thought, it's strange that self-replication windows keys belongs to avast
Btw, why are you uninstalling?

Looks like system restore (or some reg protector) is placing them back......?

muthu, you asked me by IM and I asnwered you...
Did it help? (disabling avast services)?
Do you have any other antivirus installed in your computer?
Did you take an on-line scanning (look:
http://www.security-ops.tk/
)

muthu, are you saying that you uninstalled avast! (i.e. its program folder should be basically empty) and the registry values still reappear after you delete them?
I don't see any way how avast! could do that (when it's uninstalled already). Do you use any "startup-tweaking" program that may put them back?

- Disable system restore
- Reboot
- Remove those entries
- Reboot
- Did they come back?
- Are you using a registry protector (ad-/spyware detector or something simulair)
