I've hardly seen any activity with script shield since it was first introduced. I use Firefox 6.0.2, W7 64bit.

Well unless you actually watch it it may be hard to say what is actually being scanned. Some time ago I think something was said about 64bit browser versions might not work with the script shield. I don't know if that is still the case.
