Prompts during Mail Scan
« on: November 08, 2004, 04:49:02 PM »
Sorry to be posting this sort of stupid message, but I just couldn't
find out where this configuration is.

Everytime I'm checking my mail and there are viruses, I get prompted
on what to do with the virus and that siren goes off.

How can I set avast! to automatically delete the attached infected
files (if no repair is possible) ?

Thanks.

Check your avast help file for silent mode. Depending on your avast version home/pro you have different options. The only option in the homeversion is to move the file to the chest.

A search of these forums for 'silent mode' (without the quotes) will no doubt return many hits as this topic has been  previously discussed a number of times.
