DCOM Exploit Warning
« on: September 13, 2011, 09:51:31 PM »
Hi guys. These 2 days i am getting a DCOM Exploit warning message from Avast Internet Security 6 by different ips.Yesterday in the afternoon i was chatting with my friends when the red avast warning came out saying DCOM Exploit blocked. It came out 3 times and i got scared but i didn't take a picture.I searched the net and found a page saying i need to turn on Automatic Updates and update my pc ( SINCE I NEVER UPDATED IT) and i downloaded installed all files.Restarted my pc and everything was fine until now. Those messages are coming up and i'm scared its something really dangerous.I'm updating my pc now.BTW here is a pic i took :

This is usually no targeted attack.
Think about using a firewall..! ;)
