Would it be possible to reset registry permissions manually for sr service so it can run using Process Explorer by Sysinternals?  I can get rstrui.exe to run in Task Manager momentarily when the error dialog box shows up.

Re the post above, was wondering what steps I might need to make regarding NT AUTHORITY and Administrator settings.  I am not assuming that this info might be forthcoming from you, it probably is, but was just wondering.

EDIT: Fixed misspelling error and meant to say "info might not be..."

You should be able to reset the permissions by right clicking  restui.exe selecting properties, security, advanced - I am working from memory here though
