I hate keyboard shortcuts and never use any. The only thing I use is the Windows key to minimize a full screen game and even that doesn't always work.

Is there anything that you do like ???  :D
If you don't like something, then the simple answer is "Don't use it". This was meant for those that do like shortcuts. :)

My point was that if you need all those shortcuts, that's another point against Win 8.

Since shortcuts have been around forever, I guess you should also condemn all the other operating systems.
Most programs also have shortcuts. Should they also be frowned upon for that feature ???

No, but it seems that in Win 8, they have become more necessary to know and use than in previous versions if you are going to use the Metro UI on a full PC.  To me, keyboard shortcuts are a throwback to the days of DOS. Windows was designed and meant to be a point and click OS and that's how I prefer to use it. I'm a confirmed clicker  ;D

You obviously aren't using this on a regular or constant basis. I don't have a touch screen so I used the point and click method without any problems what so ever.
That doesn't change the fact that shortcuts have always been a method of doing some things easier if you know the shortcut.

And there was me thinking it was because many thought the Metro interface stank.

Very handy no doubt, hopefully this tool will still work when win8 goes Gold. Why the hell MS haven't included this as a regular option in win8 (skip/disable Metro) is beyond me as by far this is the least well liked part of win8 in the reviews I have read.
Hello David,
I'm happy to report that this tool in deed still works on the "Gold" version of Windows 8 Pro x64:

Looking for the latest version? Download Classic Shell v3.5.1 (8.6 MB)
