Can the ESD Folder in Win8 be removed/moved to a USB Drive for future use if needed, or does it have to remain in C:Drive?
Input appreciated. :)

Edit: I have the Win8 Installation/Backup DVD
Windows ESD folder is used by Push Button Reset feature to reset your computer back to its original install state.
If you remove it, that feature will no longer work. So, it's up to you. UInless you're really strapped for space on your HD,
I would leave it alone.

Yes, I figured that was the case. I guess my interest is if one is using Disk Image Back up software, is the feature really necessary/useful??

That's strictly up to the individual user. I make regular image backups but still have it on my system. That's my choice.
You'll have to make yours. :)

Seems I'm not getting MP3 sound files (downloaded music) copied over from my XP to get uploaded to the  Media Center music library.
I have gone through the process: Tasks/Music Library and manually enter my "download folder" in MY Music but no songs appear in the Library. Even with the Media Center searching for files in the background, none ever get uploaded into the Music Library.
Any ideas as to what I'm missing?? Probably something rediculously simple.::)

Have you tried doing it manually by copying the files from you download folder and then
pasting them to your music folder ???

No I haven't tried that as that does seem very wierd for such an advanced feature as the "Media Center".
I would be interested in finding out what the issue is. I mean it was as easy as punch getting mp3 files listed in 'media player' in my XP. :-\ ???
Anyway, its not a super big deal other then IT SHOULD WORK! ;D ;)

Access the Modern Desktop on Windows 8 on the Regular Desktop by creating a Shortcut.
Here is the code you'll need for creating the shortcut:
%windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{4234d49b-0245-4df3-b780-3893943456e1}

One of the nice features of Windows 8 is the shortcut combo of the Windows key and the X key (Win+X)

Now, we can take this one step further and actually add and change the items that display on the Win+X Keys.

Win+X Menu Editor is able to do that without system file modification.

Question for Windows 8 users about "Entering Safe Mode from the 'KEYBOARD'
There has been plenty written about the difference entering SAFEMODE in Windows 8 and I'm sure I've read most of it by simply Googling "Easiest Way to enter Safemode in Windows8.
http://www.howtogeek.com/107511/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode-on-windows-8-the-easy-way/

The problem with all I've read is it seems the options given presume one can boot up into the OS options BUT: What if the system won't boot and all your left with is attempting to use the Keyboard option well known in previous OS's.... hitting F8 before entering OS.
Well that doesn't work in Windows 8 and the only information I've been able to find is "Holding the SHIFT Key while tapping F8" which is said "Sometimes takes you to "Recovery Mode" where you can choose "Advanced Options" etc.
The operative word here is "SOMETIMES" and that just doesn't cut it. I myself have not been able to make this option work, not even one time. ::)

Is there not (too date) a fool proof way (a FIX found) of entering safemode via Keyboard yet (without using the Win8 DVD)?

From what I've already experienced on some software I was testing a while ago ( Outpost Firewall beta I think ??? :-\ ) my win8 crashed and kept doing a reboot loop, after the second reboot attempt failing I was automatically presented with a blue restore screen which did everything on it's own and fixed itself.
