that must have been frustrating. i exactly know how you feel. I had the same experience, but with a scammer who said he was from Microsoft. he claimed my computer has been infected with a virus and sending alerts to Microsoft! and he said that it's gonna corrupt my system any minute so he went ahead and called to let me know. and i fell for it! he asked me to download a software something so he can use it to troubleshoot my PC and get rid of the virus, which i did... and after a few minutes, he said everything was fixed and asked me to pay. i was so thankful that i did not think anything else and paid with my CC.. after a few days, i got different charges in my bill which i never know of! and when i searched for that number in Google, guess what i found? "This number has been reported to http://www.callercenter.com 17 times!" even until now, i haven't got a refund for that unauthorized charges...

Better lock your old CC and get a new one..!!
