Scanning Non-system drives?
« on: September 22, 2011, 02:03:49 AM »
It's weird, whenever I try to scan a non-system drive, Avast always goes about scanning files on my system drive. When I pull drives from my computers and plug them into an external hard drive reader, I find the drive in My Computer, then I right click on it then scan with Avast, but it shows files off of my C:\ drive but with the other drive letter.

What if you uncheck the option "Follow links during scan" on the Sensitivity page of the particular scan you are running?

It means there are some links on that drive that point to C: specifically (just for your information, I'm not saying it's a problem).
