ABPP installation issues with SBS2011 no support!!!

I have tried sending many emails to get support in installing BPP with SBS2011, the console is not launching and not givine any error. I have logged support and rang with no success, still waiting for some one to reply after sending support log files as requested.

Do anyone know how to get a refund for Avast? if it doesnt work with SBS 2011? i cant have aserver with no protection....

ANyone please help!!!

avast! Small Business Console is compatible with SBS 2011.

The members in this forum will be able to help you solve your problems!
But we need more detailed information.

it IS compatible because I am running it on my SBS 2011.
We DO need more info then a case number we cannot access ...

yes, it is still failing and my server is still unprotected.
Apparently there is a new BPP console cominh out soon!

Hello,

Please check if you have a service called "avast! Administration Console" in Services console.
If you have the service open Command Prompt and run the following command:
sc delete "avast! Administration Console"
And run the installation again.

Note: Please close the Services console before deleting the service.

Thanks for the advise, deleted the services and ran setup again and this time it actually finish installing!!!! Not even sure why deleting the services and re-starting again would help!
