Scanning Archive files Disabled?
« on: November 15, 2004, 04:34:22 PM »
I notice when Scanning that "Scanning Archive files is Disabled".  Looked in help file and it mentions under "Packers Page" the scanning of these files, but not how to set it, or turn it on.

How exactly are you performing the scan? From the Simple User Interface, using the Explorer Extension... or in some other way?

The detailed configuration of packers ("Packers" page) is available in the Professional version only.

From the Simple User Interface.  I have a large number of files that I saved on a external hard drive with many .zip files in it.  I chose the directory with those files.  Also even now if I just choose C: and start the scan it says it's Disabled.

In Simple User Interface, you have only two options: turn all archives on or off. Did you check the "Scan archive files" checkbox (right below the Quick/Standard/Thorough scan slider) before running the scan?
