Avast suggested I run a bootscan, I restarted to do just that and now? Nothing. Just a black screen with no information, no signal to the monitor, no chance for safemode, absolutely nothing.
Everything I've read states that the boot-time scan should have something showing on the monitor so I'm a bit perplexed... and more than a little bit worried.
On the odd chance something was running I let the computer sit for 90 minutes, still nothing. Rebooting has done nothing either.
I'm running Windows 7 upgraded to Professional. On my laptop currently, hoping for help.
